    Arctic star hops

Polaris is a hop developed by Germany to meet the demand of beer industry for new flavor. It is a hybrid of German, American and Japanese hop. It belongs to high formic hop, with α acid of 18.0-24.0% and hop oil content of 4.4-4.8mL /100g.

Polaris has a pleasant citrus and mint-like nose, with light notes of bergamot and clover.

Polaris is commonly used in bitter flowers and Belgian-style beers, but can also be used in lower strength wheat beers for summer consumption, which can give a cool taste and works well in other Ales.
